COMPANY DIRECTORS

URGENT REMINDER

Back in November of last year we advised you of the new requirement for Directors to register for a Director Identification Number.

How Director ID Works

A director ID is a 15-digit identifier given to a director (or someone who intends to become a director) who has verified their identity.
Directors need to apply for their own director ID. It’s free to apply.

Have you missed the original deadline?

The fastest way to get a director ID is to apply online at:
https://www.abrs.gov.au/director-identification-number

If you can’t apply online you need to apply by phone on 13 62 50, you’ll be asked to verify your identity. You must apply for a director ID yourself. No one can apply for you. The reason for this is you need to prove your identity when you apply. As a registered ASIC agent, please notify us once you have your Director ID.
